Credit for this tasty idea goes to my mother-in-law! She was trying to come up with a way that we could enjoy Angel Food Cake at our annual picnic/fireworks on the 3rd of July. So here's how to recreate what she did:
1. Cut up the angel food cake and strawberries in smaller 'squares'
2. For easy clean up, layer cake, strawberries, and blueberries in a snack sized ziploc bag.
3. At your picnic add whipped cream (we just packed a can in the cooler).
4. Enjoy!!! Eat straight from the bag and when you are down toss it all away!!
Yes, it was a marvelous bag of red, white, and blue!
