Simple Scripture Signs

The collection of wood scraps in the garage was calling out to me and I just had to do something...
So I decided to make some signs to go above my youngest son's closest doors. My goal was to make them bright, colorful, and most importantly, proclaim a truth. I decided to use Micah 6:8.

"What does the Lord require of you?
To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."
 Micah 6:8

By using leftover acrylic paint and a black paint pen I was able to bring some scripture into the room and utilize the space.

Sorry for the bad lighting and blurred picture.

Blessings!!

Reusing Old Jars

I recently found a wonderful collection of old jars at my grandparent's house. As my husband can attest to, I have a problem throwing away perfectly good jars :) so naturally I am constantly trying to find ways to repurpose them.
This old Orange Juice Jar was destined for my counter but did not find its place until I found its purpose-
Straws...

I did have to trim some of the straws, which works well for my son's smaller cups. Plus I really like the pop of color and I get to have my jar :).

Framed Cork Board

If you are like me and have quite the collection of old frames, why not put them to good use? Go and buy a cork board and and cut it down to size. :) It's that simple!
